The vast majority of furniture sold in the UK today is imported, often from a very long way away. But in spite of the decline in our manufacturing industries there are still a number of good quality producers and many of these are within a 100 mile radius of our shops. And with the current exchange rate UK produced furniture is excellent value. So for this and the obvious ecological reasons now is the time to buy British.
To celebrate our local producers (furniture and other products) we are indicating them with a union jack on this website.
